SMart Substitutable Medical Applications (SMArt) platform architecture is based on “substitutable” components to drive down healthcare technology costs, allow flexibility, support standards evolution, accommodate differences in care workflow, foster competition in the market, and accelerate innovation. We will evaluate existing architectures and select or synthesize best of breed to deliver a network services infra-structure to enable core healthcare building block services to run across multiple platforms and distributed application development by third parties |
