Principal/Consulting Engineer for Intel Architecture Labs focusing on development of business plans, venture capital investment analysis and strategic analysis of emerging software and hardware technologies

Manager of Software Development in Server Systems Division responsible for development of software and firmware subsystems used in monitoring the performance and reliability of multiprocessor servers.

Co-manager of Storage Systems Business Unit responsible for the P&L ($25M) of the backup and hierarchical storage systems business line including marketing, product support, software and hardware development and strategic alliances.

Transarc Labs IBM Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA, 1991-1993.
Area Manager for and Systems Designer in the fault tolerant communications software development group.  Developed fault tolerant protocols for coordinating distributed transactions for IBM transaction processing monitors used in WebSphere and AIX product lines.

Member of Technical Staff USWest Advanced Technologies Boulder, CO 1990-1991.
Principal Engineer responsible for business process analysis and database technology substrates to support the deployment of advanced switching services.

Associate Researcher, Department of Computer Sciences, UW-Madison, 1988-1990.
Developed code base for Exodus object store including multithreading, locking, logging, distributed commit processing and file systems functions under direction of Prof. David DeWitt and Michael Carey.

Member of Technical Staff AT&T Bell Laboratories, Westminster, CO, 1986-1988.
Primary designer of distributed database, file and transaction processing system for real-time switching networks.
