The goal of the GIfT project is to integrate genomics and informatics into the undergraduate nursing curriculum. The project, which began in 2004, provides a forum for collaborative review of critical competencies in informatics and genomics; resources, both those available and those needed; and points for incorporation and strengthening of informatics and genomics content in the undergraduate nursing curriculum.
